Hi computer! On this years Art Fight event I genuinely thought I would get a 100% attack score, turns out my first one was a revenge! I'm pretty sure this is the first art Ruka received, for this reason I was inspired to write about her.
Ruka is the most unique of my characters, I feel like she designed herself. The only initial trait that survived the trial of time was the exposed midsection, everything else was changed the more i drew her.
One time i heard a writer talking that they wrote their character saying something, and their gut told 'em that 'was wrong', 'the character would never say that'. This happened to me with Ruka.
Initially she was going to be a silent, scary, and pale monster, her expression was meant to be blank and lifeless. Technically that makes sense, on universe she was made by an insomniac with no experience, the idea was to make her scary and Lnny friendly. Imagine an army of these little nightmares building a gigantic building (the idea of the making an army was there by the start), and then you zoom out and is like a Miku statue.
With the new design is like a dog trying to look upset but his tail is wagging, but instead of a dog is a boy with a bitch face and the tail is a cheerful robot.
Based on the fact she was made by an insomniac with no experience, she has no understanding of suffering. This dynamic is just so funny to me, generally is the opposite, the human is the one being unreasonably happy because of 'human spirit' of whatever, and the 'lucid' and nihilistic is the robot.
Derived from that another cliché her personality avoids is that whole 'robot becomes too smart and turns evil', I never understood that plot on the first place, even from a philosophy standpoint.
Either humans are special in some way or they are not. If they are NOT special; they are just part of nature, kill all humans, eventually nature will end up making another self-aware species. OR they are special, 'children of God', 'chosen ones' (whatever the reason), if humans are special what good will be killing all humans?
Like imagine you are an all mighty being, humans are no smarter than bacteria for you, why care about what they do?
I understand that the point of these stories is 'be careful with what you make' and/or 'be careful to who you give power', but hm... Maybe my problem is that i like robots too much, if you give power to those AI monsters IRL humanity would perish for sure.
The natural progression of this character is to get progressively more intelligent, with more 'Rukas' being built and working like a hivemind, but for her turning bad just sounds forced.
In my eyes if she does become an almighty being that see humans no smarter than bacteria hivemind demigoddess the logical step is to just let a couple of individuals to help their creator do his shenanigans. Bacteria do stuff, bacteria don't, what difference does it make? You can't get tired, at least you were grateful to your creator.
** Unsure if she is gonna turn into a demigoddess, but now that i know that word exists I'm thinking about it
Other than possibly becoming a human hating demigoddess I really like the 'chaotic polymorphine cooling liquid' thing. I was playing a lot of Noita when i was designing her, and on that game this liquid turns you into a random creature on contact, and depending on what creature your death is guaranteed.
With the personality change is just a possible physical gag waiting to happen.
** Two humans and a robot enter a bar, after 10 minutes two worms and a robot get out
I also think is funny to imagine a seemingly normal girl with a cute dress and a big warning sign "CAUTION: BIOHAZARD, DO NOT INTERACT"
Anyways my posts are getting bigger, i need to make this each post different pages like other people do. Is nice sit down here and write random stuff.

Hi computer. I am beyond disappointed, this is the first year i actually cared about a sports event and it ended up in a very sad way. Once again I am reminded that my insiders (voices in my head) may be deceiving.
In the recent past I'm having some talks with a friend about problems and our reaction to those problems, so for this occasion I thought of writing about the future and projects.
My main project is a universe called 'The Checkpoint', the setting for my music and my YouTube channel where I talk about random stuff.
This is where Lnny (my sona) and Ruka (the anthropomorphic representation of my computer) reside. Lnny is interested in researching different phenomena, animal life, game design, anything that may spark creativity, for that reason he goes around different planets annotating his findings. For that he needs Ruka, the robot he created, because she has dimensional travel technology a third party gave him.
This context give me the liberty to draw a variety of cool and diverse backgrounds and a very cool explanation for any collabs I might make (they can hop to the other creators 'verse' if given the permission).
The other thing I want to write in this setting is that Lnny is a 'copycat', he tries to reverse engineer anything he comes across. The overarching narrative is about inspiring creation and the process of it, I think that is an interesting way of developing it. He studies everything he finds interesting and tries to 'copy' it, but he never makes it 100%, instead making it his own in some way.
The universe explanation for it is the same third party I mentioned earlier, and the first thing he copied the lightning of a planet he got stranded in before finishing Ruka.
I'm pretty unsure if this is doable, but I think of applying something similar for collabs, using then like a glue to progress the story. For example, one thing I really want to make is an army of Rukas, that have the same 'shared personality'. Instead of just straight up doing it, I wanna make a collab with a tech focused creator, in which they ask me 'why don't I make more of them'. And after that a series of videos there I progressively do it while i talk about the can of worms that come with networking and such.
Does that makes sense? I think this approach is pretty reliant on my charisma and other people finding the premise interesting, so idk if is gonna work out. If it does, I think it would be super cool.
Another example i think about is comming up to a magic themed creator, trying to use the same magic and completely missing the point of it, making an 'illusion spell' that is fueled by electricity (of course this would only work if the mage isn't light based at all)
Only time will tell if It would work at all, but at least I know that the whole dimensional travel tech is a good excuse to make the videos with varied & unique backgrounds. In any case I do have some plans for quirks of the universe parallel to that.
The same explanation of Lnny trying to reverse engineer things coincides with the content I want to do, which is basically 'the hyperfixation of the week' (the content I most like). Not that it needed an explanation, but is cool its there.
Current thing that is limiting me to start this project is that I am not very confident with my english pronunciation. Actually every time I see someone on the internet with a brazilian accent the person all the comments are positive about it, but idk I'm not built confident like that (#×_×)
*It's SO HARD to write with a new keyboard oh gosh
Music project Vol.2
30.06.26 mood: insomniac;
Hi computer, I'm happy to say that I have made progress in my music projects, the Applied energistics inspired ones are almost ready (2/3)! and I have plans for an original Album! the name is "Songs for your LAN party", kinda inspired by "songs to put on your ipod" by Maple, for the name and for the 'collection of random songs that fit a general aesthetic vibe' nature of it (i love that album btw, highly recommend it).
The idea is to be 6-8 head-bopping songs that are somewhat 'computer-like', as i already have a lot of archived melodies collecting digital dust I'm confident it won't take years (I think 1-2 months). In compliance with what i have beeing writing about here, I will allow and endorce its use on any project, it does feel kinda wrong talking about that kind of thing without having music or projects people could use, so i'm 'putting my money where my mouth is'.
--> (similar but not equal to what 14.4ml and other artists do) I'll put it here on my site for download and on bandcamp (talking about 14.4ml and recomendations, i really like "Commutes" exclusively on their site).
I also want to confess that I didnt made any progress on that whole "talk to them" thing, I can't for the life of me bring myself to talk to someone not in my mother language.
Aw man my vacation is over, lets go to sleep computer 🫠🫠
Music project
23.06.26 mood: anxious; Listening to: Fallen Technology (WIP);
Hi computer, sorry, I remembered Factorio exists so I have been busy for a bit. While i was gone something was orbiting my head; The idea of making "Unofficial unofficial soundtrack", music inspired by a mod, I could make it play in game with a mod of my own.
My first target was a mod called "Corrundum", it adds a planet that is adjacent to the lightning and lava planets of the game, so I thought it would be fun to 'combine the two soundtracks'. Honestly, the thought of making a lot of songs for a mod is way too much so i have been writing some songs inspired by a Minecraft mod called "Applied energistics".
In regards of this mod, i find the technology in it very interesting in nature; You find a meteor with alien parts and a special kind of quarts, and with it you can make hard drives that can store matter.
Here is the preview of one of the three i'm working on (Fallen Technology):
I guess making songs that don't depend on another projects is a good way to practice finishing them. Well, i fell a bit strange working on something so niche, 'music inspired by an unknown mod of an unknown game'. Guess that at least works for practice, I want to be good at this kind of thing.
I'm confident that i will release the songs. I'll work on that while i wait for Factorio 2.1, Deltarune 5, Artfight and my freaking new split keyboard and ball mouse.
Wait what? Just released? I'll brb ;)
Slowly stopping to be a indieweb larper
14.05.26 mood: hungry; Listening to: Bonda (Album) - MC VV;
Hello dear computer. Little update on having a blog: it surpassed my expectations. It's fun to wonder what i will write about in my meantime, and as I'm constantly looking for cool topics I feel like the days are passing slower - I started less than a month ago, but it feels like ages.
Also it helps that i'm writing here on my site, where i don't see a number of views next to each post; i don't know if my average visits are 0 or 0,1 so i just imagine its zero. Since it is zero my focus shifts from the views to 'filling my pages with cool stuff', witch was the whole point of making this site.
On the broader site i'm working on the layout so it looks a bit better, i have some ideas. I'm also getting confident enough to start participating on some things of the community, so i'll try applying for the Navlink Ads and maybe some webrings and such. Not enough to write on otherpeople's guest books tough :v
One thing i've been too lazy to do is a "outbounds" page to put other people cool sites' buttons. Honestly, i love seeing other peoples collection of buttons, its like a window to theirs inspirations! Its also the main way i found out cool sites, so i've made my first bottom (the one on the very top)!!! A little early for the first site's anniversary.
It's not the idea i had in mind, so I'll still make other ones in the future.
I'll put some of the alternative version/WIP's on the side.
Out of topic: I'm writing a blog post about sign language and i bought the king in yellow to review (most random combination of facts ever) (i dont know if king of yellow is good i just saw a really funny meme once).
Talk to them
10.05.26 mood: tired; Listening to: god's chariots - Oklou;
Hello computer. Today i remade my index page, cant really say i'm satisfied with it, i've struggling with anything artistic for a week now.
"Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats." -Howard Aiken
I've beeing thinking about this quote on 'Steel like an artist', most artists don't like to be copied, and here i am dreaming of it, its because my ideas are aweasome؟ i wouldn't say that, but probably sounds like i do when i write about it all the time, while i cant figure out something as simple as a index page. When i think about talking to other artist that stop me - maybe they will think i'm insane and untrustworthy, but maybe if i keep creating alone and overthinking how other people perceive me i will forever be banished in my little corner of the internet.
I guess i'm writing this in hopes to get over the overthinking, i know that the best way to make new friends is to walk to them and talk to them, when i have the confidence to do that irl it just works. Most people, i fell like, are waiting 'to be chosen', certainly i've been for the past years.
Thats a bit personal but its usefull to put out there, maybe the cool people you thought of talking to are wainting for someone like you to aproach them.
Bookworm virus got my ass
07.05.26 mood: tired and sick
Hi computer!! I'm kinda artistically stuck right now, didnt create too much this week. I'm spening some time returning to the books.
I've read [[short political book]] and started 'steal like an artist' by Austin Kleon, i guess i already think a lot of what in this book? well, i guess those ideas arent really "original" (imagine a joking voice tone here).
The interest in reading returned after i bought some books! they are: The Metamorphosis (Kafka), The Art of Being Right (Schopenhauer), The Art of War (Sun Tzu), and The Prince (Maquiavel). Man this list sounds like i'm trying HARD to be edgy, i'll just put a photo of my Youtube music recomendations for maximum contrast.
Not really a big fan of fiction books, but the 'The Metamorphosis' cover was just sooo cool! (Brazillian cover btw your english cover are probably boring)
Eventually i'd like to have a cool "reviews" page similar to this blog, it sounds like like such a good way to make myself spend less time scrolling, another good reason to make a personal site (wink), i'll use it to force myself to analize art beneath the surface ( i'm pretty bad at it :/ )
While i'm banished from the creative realm i'm thinking about what to print (on my 3D printer) and designing some (88x31) buttons for this goofy site. I'm thinking: on the left is a colorfull bar (obviously because i really like my navigation bar) and on the rest of the sprite is me making the CHAOS symbol in the hand.
The idea is make at least 3 and let people choose what they think is cooler. I'm thinking make one that is just Ruka and a funny text (like those old buttons i keep finding on the indieweb, "learn to talk to your computer with this simple trick" or something. And one that is unhinged like "Accept chaos and win a free ps2".
TLDR; books are great and they saved my house from a big scary monster.
Redesign considerations
29.04.26 mood: sleepy;
Hi. Hi. I'll make this quick because i spend all day watching witch hat atelier and its dark. My site is kinda ugly, obviously i'm not a site maker professional but considering how much i like UI its a shame.
Look at that screenshot on your left!!! One thing i think makes my site uglier is how much i try to make it work on diferent screen sizes. If you only care about one size its easier to polish it (this is why most indieweb sites are like that), the current About and Ruka pages are a good example of this, usable on every screen size, but ugly on all of them.
Just to take a little bit more space i'll mention that i need to make some of the "guides" under that to-do list. It shoulnt be very hard, just not on the mood rn.
So on your left is the plan. Name of the game, 50 word max paragraph, them 4 little squares that you can click to skip to where you want to go. (On the left bottom) you can see 3 squares and a blank one, and on the right (bottom) i included some for the Noita page, thats very bad aswell.
The way i want to make those (Resources) pages are similar to the Android Arts art site, where they write a bunch, them put some 'concept art' and repeat. I'm starting to feel confortable with sketching on digital so that should slowly work. Instead of making all on the same day i think i'll just embrace the 'forever in development' tittle and add slowly to my pages.
Anyway boring chunk of text goodnight computer XD
"To be copied is to be loved"
27.04.26 mood: inspired; Listening to: Undo U - Ninajirachi;
I've aways had this heartwarming feeling after noticing someone copying me, "imitation is the sincerest form of flattery" they say. We as humans are designed to copy each other behavior, and we do this without noticing, usually from those people we connect (friends and family).
I hadn't had that many friends over my life so its aways a surprise to me. "I made a diference in their life", i think as i try not to make a silly expression. Is generally something like copying my 'stock phrases', out-of-date slang or 'technically correct but socially awkward' word usage, so simple, but it feels like a soft compliment.
If your friends aren't copying you in any way, ask yourself why. In retrospective this would prevent most of my heartbreaks.
An alternative way to describe this idea goes like: "I'm a museum of everything i've ever loved", of course fliping who is copying who.
As an artist is important to say this isnt a licence to plagiarism because its oposite of the essence of art, use art as inspiration and artists you admire as a north to where you need to improve.
Honestly i think that embracing this idea made me a better artist, because you need to be unique and genuine to inspire others. And to be honest, i do try to carve my corner in the internet in the most authentic way i can because i dont want anybody to think i'm copying their work. Even though i would love to see people copying mine.
well, anyway. Its nice to have a place to write my thoughts, i've spend all day thinking about writing this. Looking forward to tomorrow, i'm plotting some cool topics.
26.04.26 mood: bored;
hi! so you scrolled to the first one, i hope its because the others were interesting.
recently my new microphone arrived, this means i finally dont have any excuses to not practice my conversational english. I'm doing this by entering the unnoficial factorio discord, sucks to need to enter that site but at least is active! Having something in common to spark a conversation makes it easier to me and hoever is lucky to stumble upon my broken english.
Random mess added for scale.
Anyway i wanted to make a blog because i saw some cool sites. Beeku's one in particular has a very interesting blog, i wonder if mine will end up cool looking like theirs or like Android Arts one. I think the "digital scrapbook" vibe is so cool, makes me wanna create more.
